This is great app for beginners and just for looking at the night sky easy controls its great. I dont understand the poor reviews it must be people who overpayed for sky safari this app is way cheaper and just as good just get it your kids will love it.

Its free and works well, sometimes it needs to be restarted to find its bearings. I have no idea how other apps like this work but I m content with Milky Way

I take it outside, point it right at something I can see, and voila... It is there and I can see that its Venus or Jupiter or whatever. But the compass direction is nearly opposite of what it should be! Im pointed east and theres a W on the horizon. ??? Edit june 1:it has stopped working. Music only. Great. -stars until fixed.

Thanks for letting me try this for free but there is no way I would pay for this app. There are much better apps out there. The app uses wikipedia to look up information so it requires wifi.

It doesnt work. The app seems so cool, but then you try to use it and it is so slooooooooow, or doesnt line up correctly. I can be facing South, and the app says North. I look up and the app goes left. It is in desperate need of an update. Please fix.

Great app to see Gods wondrous stars. I like how you can see the moon or sun no matter where they are.

Really good & nice, also the music make me peace! Like the sky and the way it presents.

The app took some time to stabilize, and kept bouncing me back to my main screen. It seems to be stabilized now, and I like what it does.

I want this app to work so bad or find another app similar by which it would work! It might be something wrong with my iPad but then again thats slim as all other apps work just fine. If I get it working, Ill update my review...

Is this app not meant to be used on ipod touch? No music and will not advance from the ampersand/iPod logo :(

I got this for my iPod touch and it just plays mysterious space music. Ive pointed it at the night sky and still nothing but music and the initial logo with the iPod. Not too thrilled about this one since I cant even use it!

This app has help expand my childrens viewpoint of the world well beyond just our neighborhood in a big way. We love matching the night stars with the app.

I can never get it to align itself to the sky, so it it always off a bit. It only locates Venus and Jupiter, but Id like to locate the other 5 planets. Graphics are awesome!
